2 PATHS TO INTERVIEW SUCCESS

podcast interviews & RADIO MEDIA TOURS
These are live or pre-recorded interviews lasting more than 30 minutes for podcasts and about 10 minutes for radio shows. For podcast interviews, we’ll identify your niche and pair you up with like-minded podcasts that live on iTtunes, Spotify, IHeartMedia and more. For radio, you can expect to appear on local drive time shows and radio shows spanning such networks like NPR, Sirius-XM, and Business Talk Radio.
TV SATELLITE MEDIA TOURS & ZOOM TOURS
The lights and camera come on for these live and taped TV satellite media tours and Zoom tours. These interviews last 3-5 minutes for TV and many more for Zoom. You can expect to appear on morning and midday shows across the country which are affiliated with the big networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CNN.
We know you are busy and Media Tours are a time-efficient way to get you before audiences in a short period of time. Usually conducted over the course of a day or two, you will guest on anywhere from 5 interviews to 40+ that air across the country.

BEHIND THE SCENES
The founder and CEO of THE CATER PUBLICITY GROUP is Terry Cater. This is the 2nd publicity and media production company that Terry has launched from New York City. Her first company, Playback Producers, had a successful 18 year run and was considered one of the leading production companies in the country. With a passion to continue to help experts spread the word about their expertise, Terry opened the doors to her current venture which plays off of her last name with the tag line - “Let Us Cater Your Publicity.”
Terry spent years in the newsroom working at almost every national news network including CNN, CBS, NBC and Fox. This brings her unique insight into how shows determine what guests to book and helps her score those coveted interview spots.
Terry landed her first journalism job as a political reporter for NBC News in NYC when she was still a junior in college. She went on to work on Capitol Hill for U.S. Senators and Congressmen and then returned to the newsroom to cover political, medical and breaking news. After years of receiving ineffective guest pitches as a producer, Terry made the move to the PR world. Coupling her public relations experience with her newsroom knowledge, Terry strategizes successful publicity campaigns for her clients. Oklahoma-born and Sooner-bred with Filipino parents, Terry calls The Big Apple home.
